Half Marathon - Sacramento Girls on the Go

Today was my second half marathon.  I wasn't training properly and panicked before I even started but actually am truly happy with my time and finishing.  My average time was just under 13/min per mile for the 13.1 miles.  started stronger but around 9 -10 miles had to start walk/running.

My first Color Run 5K.

Saturday, February 22nd was my very first color run 5k.  Wow what a blast.  I cannot wait to participate in more of these.  Ran my fastest time (thanks to my friend) and loved every second of it.  Here are some of the images.

 

My WL Journal

I started Journaling all the things about weight loss that people want to remember.  The things I can do, things I would accomplish, things on my wish list.  The simple things in  life like being able to ride a plane without a seatbelt extension.  Being able to jog a mile.  Do a zip line.  Roller skate. Hike.  Things everyone takes for granted.  I never will take these things for granted.  I will appreciate every adventure.

Life after Weight Loss Surgery

I am thrilled with my success from WL surgery.  I have had my ups and downs in the past year but overall very happy with my level of activity since I lost alot of weight.  I am down 135 pds and am playing tennis and running regularly.  Tomorrow is my first color run and excited to be able to run it.  Last November, my husband and I did our first half marathon in Las Vegas.  I will never forget the picture of the scale.  I went from 318 to 199.8.  I was finally under 200 pds!  Now I am down another 10+ pds since then...

Project Life Storage

Went to Ikea and found these amazing plastic bins for $3 each!  PL fits perfectly inside.  I put all of mine (yes I have too many really) in 6 of them and they fit perfectly in my Target cubes (these are the rectangle longer version of the black cubes sold at Target)

These black cabinets (cubes/rectangle storage units) were sold at Target and perfect for PL cards.  the Ikea storage containers have slots for 3 inches and 6 inches so everything is 4 inches tall.  the shelfs I believe are around 6 inches tall!  Love this as everything for PL is in one location.. Please see my before picture in my original reorganization posts.  (sideview picture at bottom)

Ribbon/Washi Tape organization.

I decided to add a couple small drawers to my ikea expedit.  Here are some after pictures...  love this!





Ribbon storage prior to reorg.  I had 2 full boxes and plenty other places storing my ribbon, twine, twill and washi tape.  I think I need to use some of this before buying more!before/

Organization Time

Time to reorganize my craft room. What scrapper doesn't reorganize every year or so?  LOL  More excuse to go out and buy new organizational storage items and make our rooms look better right?
